Abstract: | A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified with electropolymerization of meso-tetrakis(2-aminophenyl)porphyrin (TAPP) in acetonitrile by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The voltammetric behavior of norepinephrine (NE) in the presence of excess ascorbic acid (AA) was investigated at the modified electrode by cyclic and square wave voltammetry (SWV) in phosphate buffer solution. The modified electrode gave higher selectivity and highly effective electroactivity to NE oxidation in voltammetric measurements of NE in the presence of AA and epinephrine. In pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solution, the peak current increased linearly with the concentration of NE in two concentration ranges of 1.0×10−6 to 5.0×10−5 mol dm−3. |
