Abstract:	The photosensitive and luminescent properties of composites in the system organic Ru²⁺ complex-SiO₂ are studied. The effect exerted by specific interactions of Ru²⁺ complexes with the silica matrix and by different ligands on the spectral characteristics of the complexes is studied.
