| Abstract: | Applications of sub-Doppler optical resonances to the spectral lines of atoms and molecules giving laser standards of wavelength and frequency are presented. The problems of precise measurement of length and absolute measurement of light frequency are considered. Prospects of elaborating fundamental experiments with laser ultra-stable frequency are discussed. |
