| 摘 要： | 介绍了基于ICA(独立分量分析法)的牌照识别系统的字符识别.为了提高字符特征提取的质量,首先通过车牌图像的预处理,然后采用了基于高阶统计信息的特征提取方法,即ICA对车牌灰度图像的字符进行识别.该系统避免了二值化对字符特征的影响,识别方法简单,结果理想.

| Abstract: | This paper describes the character recognition module based on independent component analysis(ICA).The method of character feature extraction in this paper based on the high-order statistics improves the quality of feature extraction.The approach of character recognition on gray-scale level based on ICA overcomes the shortstages of classification on binary images,and is simple. |
