Direct Limits of Effect Algebras |

| Abstract: | In this paper, we prove that direct limits exist in the category of effect algebrasand effect algebra-morphisms. Then, as a consequence, we obtain similar knownresults for the categories of orthomodular posets and orthomodular lattices. |
