Abstract: | This article reviews recent contributions to mesoscale modeling for self-organization of colloidal systems. The review covers both off-lattice models and off-lattice–on-lattice hybrid models that are able to describe the motion of colloidal particles with hydrodynamic interaction. All the models are compared with one another in terms of accuracy, applicable scope, robustness and efficiency. |
