| Abstract: | Proton chemical shifts as well as solvent shifts induced by benzene in several amidoximes are examined with respect to their configuration and are compared to the solvent shifts induced in benzalanilines. The geometry of the benzene-solute ‘collision-complex’ is also discussed. |
