Abstract: | Summary Catalytic amounts of enantiopure aminoalcohols assist the decarboxylation of 2-carboxy-2-methyl-1-tetralone to 2-methyl-1-tetralone affording enantiomeric excesses of up to 35%. A rapid screening of the efficiency of various potential inductors of enantioselectivity has been carried out using circular dichroism spectroscopy.
Enantioselektive Katalyse, 23. Mitt. |
