| 摘 要： | 本文论述了工程数据库管理系统(EDBMS)的总体结构、功能及其实现环境.该系统采用关系和网状混合的数据模型,实现了图形数据和非图形数据的统一管理,并具备版本管理及控制、知识库管理等功能.

| Abstract: | This paper deals with some problems of an engineering database management system (EDBMS) developed by the authors. The EDBMS is based on the ORACLE RDBMS. The system consists of a database management system (DBMS), version management, graphical system and knowledge base. Some problems concerning the design of a graphical database in the EDBMS are described, such as the development of graphical data models, the definition of graphical data structures, the storage of the graphical data, the establishment of relationships among graphical data, the processing of non-uniform length records and the management of data, etc. The EDBMS is found to run well and has such advantages as effective functions, high reliability and friendly interface for users. |
