甲氧基甲苯阳离子基的形成及反应研究

摘    要:通过对一些甲氧基甲苯化合物与过硫酸铵、全氟酰基过氧化物的热反应,以及与三氟甲基苯基酮在紫外光照下反应的研究,发现这些反应的速率及其生成的产物在很大程度上取决于取代甲苯的结构、氧化剂的性质和反应条件。

Abstract:Toluene and 4-methoxytoluene are readily oxidizcd to the corresponding benzyl acetates by in acetic acid,and to the adducts(PhC(OH)(CF3)CH2Ar)and the aldehyde(Ar CHO)by 1,1,1-trifluoroacetophenone in acetonitrile under ultraviolet irradiation. How-ever,no reactions take place between 2-methyl-and 2,5-dimethyl-1,4-dimethoxybenzenesunder the same conditions. On the contrary,only the 1,4-dimethoxybenzenes can be easilyoxidized by perfluoroacyl peroxides to the ring-substituted or to side-chain oxidation prod-ucts respectively.According to the results, the main factors affecting the reaction patterns ofsubstituted toluenes are discussed.
