| Abstract: | The hydrogenation of benzene, styrene and isoprene over magnesia doped with sodium and potassium vapors has been studied. Neither system displays a catalytic activity towards benzene hydrogenation. The initial rate, turnover number and time of halfdecay for styrene and isoprene hydrogenation have been determined.
