| Abstract: | Separate Penning electron spectra were measured resulting from the ionization of H atoms by He(21S) and He(23S) metastables in thermal collisions. From these results potential parameters of the diatomics He(21S)-H(2S) (2Σ) and He(23S)-H(2S) (2Σ) as well as the cross-section ratio σ(singlet)/σ(triplet) are derived. |
