| Abstract: | The direct correlation function as obtained by Baxter for a sticky hard sphere potential, which is significant improvement over that of the hard sphere potential, has been used in the evaluation of the structure function of aluminium and lead. The values obtained by the present method are in good agreement with experiment. |
