| Abstract: | Radiative lifetimes of 6s7f1F3, as8f1F3, and 6s9d1D2 Ba Rydberg levels were measured in an atomic beam by time resolved recording of the exponential decay of the fluorescence. The excitation was performed by use of two pulsed dye lasers and a superradiant emission or a superradiant cascade controlled by a cavity. |
