Abstract: | A method of path integration is used to derive the formula describing the effect of multiple scattering on the intensity of relativistic-particle coherent radiation in a crystal. It is shown that during the particle motion in a crystal the multiple scattering can exert an essential effect on the radiation at lower particle energies and in a greater frequency range than in an amorphous medium. This opens new possibilities in studies of the Landau-Pomeranchuk effect using up-to-date accelerators. |
