| Abstract: | Three new polyester colorants co-polymerised with anthraquinone disperse dyes were prepared by way of melt condensation polymerisation. The effects of reaction temperature,time and the initial dye content on polymerising precess were studied The prepared polymeric colorants were characterised by UV spectra and their solubility. The chromophore contents and intrinsic viscosities of polyester colorants were also measured.The rheological behaviour of the polyester colored with anthraquinone polyester colorant was investigated by Haake S-40 rheometer and capillary rheometer.The result showed that it was similar to that of the raw polyester. |
