Abstract:Diethyl bis(hydroxymethyl)malonate(DBM) was synthesized and analyzed by chemical ionization mass spectrum(CI MS).The CI MS conditions for obtaining more fragmentation ions in the presence of strong molecular ion peak were studied,and the ion formation pathway was also analyzed.The results showed that under the selected CI conditions,the MS spectra of DBM quasimolecular ion and its fragmentation ions produced in the course of further fragmentation were obtained.These fragmentation ions followed the organic MS ion fragmentation rule.Using the MS fragmentation mechanisms,the fragmentation pathway of these ions could be analyzed.Based on the selected CI conditions,both the sample molecular mass and structure informations could be obtained with good repeatability.
