| Abstract: | Lupeone and lupanone on autoxidation yielded the corresponding disphenols in almost quantiative yield. Hydrogenation of lupanone diosphenol yielded a dihydro derivative which on acetylation yielded 3β-acetoxy lupan 2-one. |
