| Abstract: | A review with 12 references is given on the structural features of biomineraland the mechanisms of biominer alization including the major principles involved in mineralizalion in biological system.The reason why calcium and silicon compounds are used for these purposes by organisms and how these biominerals are formed are explored,emphasizing the biomineralizational difference between calcium and silicon. It also outlines the type of the biomineral and analysis the feature of the biomineral and the processes of biomineralization. |
