| Abstract: | The performance of polymer composites reinforced with neutral glass fibres was compared with that of “E” glass reinforced composites. The strength and fatigue characteristics of composites, and the polymerisation kinetics at the glass-polymer interface, were studied. The results show that “N” glass fibre composites possess superior wet strength and are suitable for general application. |
