Gibberelline-80: Über strukturelle einflüsse bei der glucosylierung von gibberellinen

Different gibberellins possessing both a secondary hydroxy group at C-3 and a tertiary hydroxy group at C-13 have been glucosylated by Koenigs- Knorr reaction. The observed yields of glucosides show that an equatorial arrangement of the hydroxy group favours its glucosylation whereas a neighbouring double bond decreases the yield. The gluccosylation rates of the 3- and 13-hydroxy group are compared and discussed.
