| Abstract: | This communication describes the total synthesis of the marine polyether toxin, gambierol. This work couples our iterative C-glycoside/enol ether-olefin metathesis strategy to the subunits with a unique olefin metathesis/carbonyl olefination reaction to bring the subunits together. |
