论语用意识培养的必要性

摘    要:随着大学英语教学改革和跨文化交际的不断扩大,越来越多的学者和教师意识到培养学习者语用能力的重要性。然而,很多研究表明只教一些目的语的固定词组或语用准则对提高他们的语用能力是远远不够的。相反,语用意识能使英语学习者对语用差异和决定语言使用的因素产生敏感性,因此本文研究培养语用意识的必要性。文章的理论框架是Schmidl;(1993)的注意假说。

Abstract:With the reform of College English teaching and the increase of inter-cultural communication,the importance of developing learners' pragmatic competence has been recognized by more and more people.Many scholars find that teaching formulaic phrases or forcing learners into pragmatic rules of the target language is not enough to enhance their pragmatic ability.Therefore,the study is to explore the necessity of raising students' pragmatic awareness.The main theoretical framework for this study is Schmidt' s research concerning the role of consciousness in the development of L2 pragmatic competence (1993).
