Abstract:
Summary A simple method to produce negative, asymptotic temperature programming was developed by modifying a GC temperature programmer, which allowed to control the density of a supercritical fluid near its critical point. When a packing material with relatively large particles (40m) was used, the flow rate was maintained constant during the temperature programming. This method was applied to the determination of molecular weight distribution of polystyrene oligomers.
