| Abstract: | The 31P NMR spectrum of P4S7 in CS2 solution belongs to the A2X2 system (δ = 83.9 and 110.7 ppm respectively, downfield from D3PO4); this confirms the C2v symmetry of the free molecule. No P–S–P coupling is observed; this anomaly is discussed by comparison with related compounds. |
