| Abstract: | A new sterol C 30 H 48 O has been isolated from the marine sponge Axinyssa aplysinoides collected from South China Sea.The compound has been shown to beΔ 22(23) (E)-24,26,26-trimethyl-25-methylene-cholesterol based on its spectral data of UV,IR,MS,NMR.This is the first report about the compound. |
