| Abstract: | The major component of a nonpolar fraction of an extract of an actinobacterium Nocardia sp. KMM 3749 isolated from an unidentified marine ascidian was shown, using NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry, to be 2,3-dimethoxy-5-methyl-6-polyprenyl-1,4-benzoquinone (ubiquinone Q9). |
