| Abstract: | The formfactors for the electroexcitation of the collective states of 208Pb have been calculated within the Model of Separable Residual Interaction (MSI); the results for the even parity states up to Jπ = 10+ agree nicely with recent measurements. It turns out, that the energies of the lowest collective states of positive parity follow rather closely a J(J + 1) law. |
