The spin structure of charmonium and the quark-gluon effective interaction |

| Abstract: | The large S-state hyperfine splittings and the spacing of the P-states of charmonium can be explained qualitatively by an effective quark-gluon anomalous magnetic moment of 1 quark magneton within the context of a nonrelativistic linear potential model. |
