| Abstract: | Two condensation products — 5-hydroxy-2-(2'-furyl)quinoxaline and 8-hydroxy-2-(2-furyl)-quinoxaline — are formed in the reaction of 2-furylglyoxal or the sodium salt of its aldoxime with 6-hydroxy-1,2-diaminobenzene.
