Abstract: | Summary. The MeOH extract of the stem bark of Entada abyssinica and of the leaves and stem bark of Securidaca longipedunculata yielded a diterpene, a flavonol glycoside, and a phytosterol glycoside. Their structures were established on basis of NMR spectroscopic analysis; the complete 13C and 1H assignment of the compounds was achieved by means of 2D NMR studies. Received October 13, 1999. Accepted November 3, 1999 |
