| Abstract: | Fourteen new 2 acylhydrazino 5 ( 2,4 dichlorophenyl) 1,3,4 oxadiazoles were prepared by nucleophilic displacement of acylhydrazine at the 2 position of 2 methylsulfonyl 5 (2,4 dichlorophenyl) 1,3,4 oxadiazole . Fourteen new 3 substituted 6 (2,4 dichloro phenyl) S triazolo 1,3,4 oxadiazoles were obtained by treating 2 acylhydrazino 5 (2,4 dichloro phenyl) 1,3,4 oxadiazoles with K 2CO 3 solution. The structures of new compounds were determined by elementary and spectral analyses. All the new compounds showed a significant antibacterial activity. |
