Novel Cyclic Enaminone Esters and N‐Heterocycles by Divergent Chemical Behavior through Amine‐Mediated Reactions

Abstract:New acridinones and enaminone esters were synthesized by microwave‐assisted tandem‐Michael? Michael addition and cyclization from cyclohexane‐1,3‐diones. The reaction mechanism for both open and closed structures, and the presence of intramolecular twelve‐membered rings derived from NH and OH H‐bonds of enaminone esters are discussed.
