Abstract: | Employing a recently derived integro-differential equation which is equivalent to the Faddeev equation, in an adiabatic approximation, we obtain accurate lower bounds to the binding energy of three-quark systems close to the upper bounds provided by the hypercentral approximation to the hyperspherical expansion method. Calculations have been performed for the Martin and the spin-dependent Ono-Schöberl potential. |
