| Abstract: | In this paper, a particular exact solution of a nonlinear wave equation isgiven for a slab configuration where a nonlinear self--focusing dielectric film isembedded between two linear media. The mormalized dispersion equation andthe fie1d pattern are obtained and the results discussed. |
