| Abstract: | The classes of accretive, dissipative, and accretive-dissipative matrices are shown to be closed with respect to taking a
sub-direct sum, while the classes of SQD and BG matrices are closed with respect to taking a sub-direct difference. Computational
consequences of these facts are discussed. |
