| Abstract: | High excitation photoluminescence of CdS at low temperatures excited by photons below the bandgap show the same general features as those obtained by one-photon band to band absorption. The excitation spectrum of the M-line shows no structure corresponding to a giant two-photon absorption expected for the direct creation of excitonic molecules. |
