Abstract: | dc conductivity and Seebeck measurements have been carried out at temperatures below Tg on well characterized bulk samples of amorphous As2Te3, As2Se3, and As2S3. Several models for conduction in these materials have been compared to the data. It is concluded that the models involving polaron hopping conduction are in better agreement with available data than are models involving hopping in the tails of localized band-tail states. |
