| Abstract: | Using derivatization with o-phthaldialdehyde and N-acetyl-L-cysteine, enan-tiomeric amino acids were separated by high-performance liquid chromatography. The effects of mobile phase on the eluting order and the separation were discussed. In the binary mixed solvent system, varying the concentration of methanol could provide different tendency of ef-. feet on separating different amino acid enantiomers. In the teerary mixed solvent system, the organic modifying solvent, tetrahydrofuran could provide special effect on the selectivity for certain separations. |
