Abstract: | Modelling of biological receptors of proteins by the synthesis of polymers with side-groups resembling proteins is one way of studying the interaction between drug and protein. For this purpose, various methacrylic monomers with amine para(2-hydroxyethyl) aniline as its acetanilide derivatives onto methacrylic chloride or onto 2-chlorocarbonyloxy-ethyl methacrylate. The corresponding polymers are used as protein models, particularly those having a free amine function. A comparative study by differential spectroscopy of drug-albumin and polymer-drug model interaction for the anticoagulant as phenylindanedione) has made it possible to obtain information on the nature of the albumin receptors. |
