东平经石概述

东平是佛教刻经遗存较为集中的地区。通过概述东平现存摩崖刻经及部分刻经碑刻以及东平一带北朝佛教情况说明刻经出现的背景，初步探讨山东地区名摩崖刻经的目的并非是“末法思想”的反应，而是为了观方弘化，方便僧侣禅定、颂经。通过我国出现的纪年刻经说明刻经发展路线及在不同地区的表现形式。重点介绍了山东地区的刻字特点。

Dongping county is a gathering place of Buddhist sutra carvings.Through a general introduction of Buddhist sutra carvings on the cliffs and a part of sculptures of Buddhist sutra of the North Dynasty period in the area of Dongping county, the writer shows the background of the appearnce of Buddhist sutra carvings,preliminarily probes that the purpose of the famous Buddhist sutra carvings on the cliffs was not the reflection of the "Mo Fa Thought",but was for Guan Fang Hong Hua,so as to provide convenience for the monks to sit in meditation and chant Buddhist sutra.The chronological Buddhist sutra carvings appeared in our country showed the route of development of the Buddhist sutra carvings and their different forms of expression in different districts,
