Abstract: | An efficient kinetic method of reactivity ratio measurement for binary copolymerization of gaseous monomers4 that does not require the measurement of copolymer composition and can be applied to the data obtained in a single copolymerization run was modified and applied to olefin copolymerization with heterogeneous Ziegler–Natta catalysts. Estimated r1 and r2 values for pairs like ethylene-propylene and propylene-1-butene agree favorably with published data. |
