In vivo topical magnetic resonance

NMR is rapidly extending biochemistry into the in vivo situation. This review provides a survey of the instrumental techniques necessary for high resolution spectra to be produced from a whole animal. The current areas of application are then reviewed for phosphorus, ¹³C topical magnetic resonance etc., and finally the potential areas for future development are outlined.
