Syntheses and Chemical Reactions of New Quinone Derivatives with 1,6-Methano10]annulene Fragments or their Valencetautomers The coupling of 2-Methoxy-1,6-methano10]annulene with aryldiazonium salts leads to the corresponding quinone hydrazones. These compounds undergo reduction with LiAlH₄, condensation with hydrazines and hydrazides and alkylation at the carbonyl O-atom or the hydrazone N-atom.
