| Abstract: | A literature review was undertaken to evaluate the effects of light on larval development and adult reproduction excluding diapause. Shortening or lengthening of larval developmental time, adult emergence, gametogenesis, fecundity and oviposition are all affected by both photoperiod and light quality. |
