| Abstract: | It is reported that a strange peak emerged in the ion spectrum of penning ion trap. The discrimination method of the peak is presented. The reason of peak production and possibility of its elimination are analysed. A new method of detection trapped ion with high resolving power making use of this mechanism is designed. |
