Abstract: | Based on the method considering spin and spatial symmetry, numerical calculations of spin-level spectra have been performed for cyclic clusters and infinite chains with alternating spins of the s-S]n type, where s = 1/2 and S = 3/2–7/2. The temperature dependences of internal energy and magnetic susceptibility for ferrimagnetic systems of this type have been determined. The curves of the magnetic susceptibility as a function of temperature have been extrapolated to n → ∞. The theoretical curves are compared with experimental data. |
