| Abstract: | The optimal shape control of flexible intelligent thin shell structure is derived by using the intelligent thin shell element presented. A new block iterative algorithm is presented by using the special feature of the continuous Riccati equation in the optimal shape control. Finally, a numerical example of a paraboloid antenna is given. |
