Abstract:The activity of SrCO_3/BaSO)4 catalyst for the oxidativc coupling of methane(OCM) was studicd. The result revcals that SrCO_3/BaSO)4 catalyst exhibits comparatively high activity The addition of ThO2 mcreases C2 yield and selectivity obviously and gives 18 2% C2 yield and 61. 3%, C2 sclectivity, The relation between activity and acid-base property of catalysts was studied by the techinique of TPD. 'The the phase composition of the catalysts was analyzed catalysts was analyzed by XRD and inferred the relation of structure with activity.
