| Abstract: | There have long been existing different views on whether it is alike in appearance or in spirit in the classic Chinese theory of poetry.Making a review of the different views anew is to open a path to the truth of poetic theory.This paper aims at giving a summary of Su Shi's(1037-1101) idea of being alike in spirit so as to approach the truth of poetic theory more closely. |
